About Elīna Garanča

Elīna Garanča was born on September 16, 1976, in Riga, Latvia. She began to study singing in her hometown in 1996 and continued her studies in Vienna. She made her professional debut in 1998 and has since gone on to become one of the most sought-after opera singers in the world.

Garanča has performed at some of the world's most prestigious opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, the Royal Opera House, and the Vienna State Opera. She has also performed with some of the world's leading conductors, including Riccardo Muti, Antonio Pappano, and Zubin Mehta.
